can u believe that 2 places i went to yesterday to deposit money in their auto depositor were actually faulty?

one lady was almost stressed to tears. she not only got her money zapped, her atm card was also swallowed up by the atm depositor.

posb which is now under dbs is just as fucked up as ever. there used to be conveniently located and now after dbs laid its slimy hand on posb, manyi outlets were abruptly closed. you can hardly find one at the location that u once were familiar with.

even their atms, they were liked extinct overnight and so difficult to locate one that's convenient and nearest to you.

what the fuck is dbs trying to do? why isn't gov doing anything to address this horrendous public service?

dbs has the sin to ruin the good name of the once a peoples' bank of posb which was a strong, friendly and convenient bank for singaporeans.

justice has to be returned to posb to reclaim their pristine old reputation which is badly stained by dbs , dirty bastards of singapore!

That really sucks. DBS/POSB can act blur and claim their machine (including CCTV footage) got no record of holding onto her money. Not out of dishonesty, but simply out of cockup on DBS/POSB's part. The fact that the lady was almost stressed to tears indicates that she is not rich, and whatever amount she tried to deposit meant a lot of money to her.

Btw, I once saw an elderly couple (60+ years old) deposit a wad of 100 bills of $1000 notes, ie. $100,000.00, at the DBS deposit machine just outside (and 1 floor above) the entrance of the Resorts World Sentosa Casino.

the bloody gov claims that they do not encourage gambling. it's ironical that they allow dbs to install dbs ATMS just outside the sentosa IR.
fyi, those atms don't seem to break down even under heavy usage

most locals are more familiar with the posb of the past era which dbs has mercilessly corrupted it. posb now doesn't serve the average man, it's being exploited to suck the poor poorer so that it could serve the rich richer.

Those who ever use the POSB/DBS ATMs just outside of Key Point (off Beach Road) be careful. For some strange reason, the machines there are super fast and if you do not retrieve back your atm cards immediately after whatever transactions, the card will be eaten up within less than ten seconds. You then have to call up the special number provided on the wall, next to the atm and quote the specific atm machine number to report the atm card being eaten up. Good luck to you if you have your card eaten up on a Friday or Saturday evening. You have to wait till Monday before you get a replacement card.

Letting a machine handle so much money is dangerous. Remember once when I made the mistake of withdrawing thousands of dollars via the ATM. Can you imagine all the $50 bills involved in such a transaction.

The ATM short changed me. Fortunately it was during office hours & the ATM was just outside a branch AND I counted the money. I of course immediately reported the problem. Had to wait a couple of days before POSB confirmed that the machine made an error.

From that incident I now only take out hundreds when using an ATM. For larger transactions I always do it via a life bank teller.

I don't see anything wrong with my POSB account. The ATMs which I use often are perfectly okay. No issue with the bank at all.

the gov didn't tell us they are definitely cheaper, more obedient, work long hrs without complaint and best of all no need to bend interrupted for ns reservist in camp.

and yes, gov also tells us without them, locals might be unemployed too.
