We should be allowed to purge the poor from our society. Purge!
Where are the PAP-built gas chambers? Are you head of the PAP Gestapo? How many poor have you sent to the gas chambers?

The ministers are worth every penny they are paid. They have a tough job to do and it goes without saying that they should be able to enjoy the baubles of office.
In any society you get a range of incomes. Someone has got to be at the bottom of the pile. It is each individual's responsibility to make sure they don't fall into that category.

The definition of "poor" in Singapore means that they can't afford an iPhone6s

And yet they are friends with a guy like u.u are contradicting arentturselfich and top earners take up residency in other countries to avoid paying taxes, people who are genuinely socialist and concerned about tthe tthettthedarenttthehe are of their country and people will not do that.
A normal upbring,a socialist, communist working class one, without a silver spoon or platinum fork, one determined to strike it out big on his own but never forget his roots.
No need gas chambers.....when they 'poor' report sick to the hospitals.....those in the reproductive age , just jab them with benperidol & tell them, it is VITAMINS for their health....ha ha ha ha
I thought our government is extremely stingy for spending less than 2%of our gdp on welfare,u mean we are not even at that level???does the PAP know that countries like australia and europe spend nearly 20 percent of GDP on welfare?and super socialist welfare countries like norway and scandinavian spend nearly 40 percent of GDP on welfare?even the more conservative asian countries like japan and korea spend like 13 percent gdp on welfare.
singapore's gini coefficient is at a staggering 0.43.......countries like norway and denmark also have extremely high gini coefficients but after taxation and welfare and government transfers of wealth, their gini goes from 0.50 to 0.25 a reduction in wealth inequality by nearly 50 percent!!!!
Why should the rich pay astronomical taxes to support the lazy louts of society who can't be bothered to do an honest day's work?
The first 10 years of my life was an experience in abject poverty. However my parents showed me that with hard work and determination anybody can climb out of the so called "poverty trap".
It is because of my roots that I am fully aware of the mindset of the majority of the poor. They view themselves as victims and blame everyone but themselves for the predicament they're in. This attitude condemns them to perpetual poverty because they aren't going to take steps to fix a problem that they don't feel they own in the first place.
My parents taught me that poverty was a condition that could be overcome and it was up to the individual to take concrete steps to climb out of the hole they were in.
abject poverty?i was raised in a single parent family,my mom had to raise two kids on a trainee nurse' salary.my early very very young toddler years i can vaguely remember was being shuffled from my grandmother's and god knows where like some kind of foster care,i was in k2 or something before my mom got her hdb flat grant,
we were so poor that on the walls of my nursery or room or whatever that i shared was inscribed with w b yeats poem...."Had I the heaven's embroidered cloths,Enwrought with golden and silver light,I would spread the cloths under your feet:But I, being poor, have only my dreams;I have spread my dreams under your feet;Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
meals were a nightmare,up till the age of 11 or 12,as far as i could remember, there was rarely any meat.occasionally there would be fish which was a welcome.i remember once my mom bought home some pig skin,it was thick brown, rubbery and disgusting, since there was no pork fat or meat on it,it was just disgusting boiled pig skin.i had no idea what rice we ate,it was cheap disgusting brown rice with weevils in it,i had a hard time deciphering whether it was rice i ate or baked worms.i would spend many a lunchtime buried in my books to get over the experience and help me forget the taste.i remember once when a primary school mate came over, this was towards the end of my poverty phase....my mom offered to cook lunch for him,i was mortified to think of the menu we were about to offer him.....even the NSFs at tekong and the prisoners in DB would rebel against it,our food was not even fit for dog consumption.....we got a bowl of white rice and two frozen fish nuggets.....it was not even made of real fish, the sweet orangey kind that tasted like fake crab meat or something.....cheap ass fish nuggets made in malaysia....ikan nuggets.
oh well it doesnt matter, you do what you do.theres 7 billion people in this world, uncountable forces pushing against each other, struggling to make an impact, for good or evil....chances are what you do doesnt matter anyway.men only think about the past, but the past is gone, there is nowhere for us to return to.what are we searching for anyway?

It means that you are addicted to cheap rates and not high rates.
