Four months ago JBJ brought forth on this island, the Reform Party, a new party, conceived in freedom, and dedicated to the people of this little red dot.
Now we are engaged in a great clown war, testing whether that any party so conceived and so dedicated, can long fight for the rights of the peasant. We are met on a great battle-field of that clown war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that clown, as a final resting place for those who here gave up their careers that that democracy might live in little red dot.
But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate this island to the men in white. The brave men, living and dead, sinkers and quiters, have consecrated it, far above our poor money to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the sinkies, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us that we here highly fix that these sinkies shall not have voted in vain.
