Silk slip: Wardrobe malfunction at Jiangsu beauty contest

The finals of the 2012 New Silk Road Miss China Contest, held in the city of Zhenjiang in eastern China's Jiangsu province on Sept. 29, were reportedly enlivened by a series of embarrassing faux pas, including a model who failed to notice that her white underwear was visible under her swimsuit as her bikini bottoms slid down, according to the Hong Kong-based Phoenix Net.
30 contestants took part in the event, which was held in Zhenjiang for the second year. The city has an agreement to host the pageant for five years in partnership with the New Silk Road Model Organization to promote the local Jinshan, Jiaoshan and Beigushan national scenic areas.
