8. Chi Dynamics Qigong was created and developed by Grandmaster Anthony Wee, the founder of Chi Dynamics International. It comprises two distinct arts – the active Tongong (‘Tong’ means ‘moving’) and passive Jingong (‘Jing’ means ‘still’ or ‘static’); the latter art is good for meditation and healing.
Chi Dynamics International in Singapore conducts regular exercise sessions for people who are concerned for their health and want to stay fit. Each session lasts about 2 hours and if practised on a daily basis, one should be able to master the exercises within 3 to 6 months. Besides an overall sense of fitness and well-being, other benefits include improvements in digestion, prevention of irritable bowel syndrome, better weight and waistline control, toned up muscles and a good understanding of self-therapy and self-healing.
Chi Dynamics Qigong is also about meditation as the key to good health is Qi flow, which is internal and connects mind and body.
In Chi Dynamics Qigong, the principle is that exercises should be done optimally, and not to the maximum. Unlike the western concept of “no pain, no gain”, the Chi Dynamics maxim is “never maximum, always optimum”.
If you wish to join the weekly exercise and meditation classes organised by Chi Dynamics International , here are the details:
Venue: 30 Leng Kee Rd. 4th Floor (above the Ital Auto showroom)
Training days: Mediation (Jingong) classes are at 7pm on Mondays and Thursdays
Active Exercises (Tongong) classes are at 7pm on Tuesdays

The exercises for the organs also help in the prevention of strokes and heart attacks, while the liver, spleen, kidneys and digestive organs are massaged internally for optimal function.
• The next 30 minutes centres on the Mao and Fongyang swings, followed by the 10 postures and Qi meditation with Qi ball as the focus and a Qi energy circle without touch.
