SINGAPORE: Police have arrested two 19-year-olds believed to be involved in an armed robbery at Yishun Park Connector on Thursday.
Police said they were believed to have robbed a 28-year-old male victim of his handphone at knifepoint at about 8.15pm.
The suspects then fled towards Yishun Central.
The victim and his friend gave chase but stopped when the suspects threatened them with the knife.
The two suspects will be charged in Court on Saturday.
If convicted, they can be jailed for up to 14 years and receive 24 strokes of the cane. - CNA/fa
