SINGAPORE: Police have arrested two men, aged 23 and 27, in connection with a death at Eu Tong Sen street on Sunday (Sep 7).

A man, believed to be in his 40s was found lying motionless at the 11th-floor car park at Pearls Centre past 1pm that day. Police said paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.

The two suspects will be charged with murder on Tuesday. - CNA/ly

SINGAPORE: Two men were charged with murder on Tuesday (Sep 9) at the State Courts for the death of a man at Pearls Centre.

Sunder Rangasamy, 27, and Thiagu Muniandy, 23, both Malaysians, are accused of committing the murder of 47-year-old S Krisnan Value. Two unknown men are also suspected to be involved in the murder.

The murder allegedly happened on Sep 7, between 12.37am and 1.13am, at the multi-storey car park of Pearls Centre at Eu Tong Sen Street.

The two accused have been remanded for further investigations, and the next mention of the case will be on Sep 16. - CNA/av

Pearls Centre death: Two more arrested in Malaysia

SINGAPORE: Two more suspects were arrested in relation to the murder of 47-year-old S Krisnan Value at Pearls Centre last Sunday (Sep 7).

In a news release on Wednesday, the Singapore Police Force said the suspects, aged between 20 and 22, were arrested in Malaysia with the assistance of the Royal Malaysia Police. The authorities were acting on a warrant of arrest issued by the State Courts, and the suspects were extradited back to Singapore on Tuesday.

The two suspects will be charged in court at 9am on Thursday for the offence of Murder with Common Intention under Section 302 read with Section 34 of the Penal Code, Chapter 224.

The SPF also thanked the RMP, in particular the Criminal Investigation Department and Johor State Police, for their “strong and unequivocal support” for this case. - CNA/xk

SINGAPORE - Another two Malaysians were charged in court on Thursday with the murder of a compatriot at a multi-storey carpark at Pearls Centre.

This brings the total number of accused to four.

Ananthan Muniandy, 20, and Kirubakaran Manikumaran, 22, are accused of causing the death of Mr S. Krisnan Value, 47, at the building in Eu Tong Sen Street in the early hours of Sunday.

The alleged offence is said to have been committed with Sunder Rangasamy, 27, and Thiagu Muniandy, 23, who appeared in court on Tuesday.
