After some googling, ESET Mobile Security & Antivirus can also detect this malware trojan.

http://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eset.ems2.gp

After doing some research on the net, since the malware has been embedded into the android OS by phone manufacturers, removal is impossible by factory reset. Rooting and installation of busy box to access system files to manually delete it will render your smart phone unusable! It's the same like deleting core system files from your windows OS system.

The only way to remove malware that's embedded into your system OS is to flash a new rom. This is not an isolated case. Google the trojan name and you will find similar complaints.

same deal with tiong hookers. if you go raw you get extra dna specimens called std's. they're gratuitous supplier-buyer bonuses or angpows, part of doing business with tiongs.

The best part about this is that users don't need to click on malicious links or websites to get it. It comes already in your smart phones, tablets, computers completely F.O.C.

It is not malicious. It is back door, like your own. It helps them remotely take control of your phone if you are naughty.

Not confined only to OPPO phones but also to unknown, lesser known brands. You should scan all your China made smartphones, tablets and computers with Malwarebytes.

When u buy a new smart phone, tablet, PC or other devices with internet connectivity, the first thing u must do is....

Don't download and install unauthorized apps outside Google play store, don't surf the net without first scanning it with Malwarebytes or ESET mobile security & Antivirus, that way u can confirm whether device manufacturer has planted a trojan malware into your device or embedded it into your system os.

Was about to ask what's stopping him from removing it if it can detect it.

If that is the case, the factory image has the trojan, the manufacturer mess up big time by including a trojan in their image, presumably unintentional.

Cannot remove as shown...
