$166,000 over 13 years divided by 2 kids = Each kid gets $6384 per year (of which more than half are in non-monetary terms - tax savings, medisave, leaves). Only a fool will fall into such fanciful numbers.

Land costs jacked up sky high and money goes into govt black hole, therefore resulting in childcare costs skyrocketed. Then turn around give back a few pennies and call it government subsidies. PUI!!!!!

Same for hospital delivery costs, pediatrician charges, milk powder, diapers etc all jacked up sky high. Milk powder especially, normal fresh milk price almost same as a decade ago, but nowadays milk powder selling like high end wine.
