To be fair, they was missing Mertesacker and Koscielny. Defence should improve when they are back.
Arsenal's issue (as it is every year), is that Arsene Wenger is a tight-fisted scrooge who's not prepared to (or afraid to) spend in the transfer market even though the club is awash with cash.

What to make of Arsenal?
