不用再排队买高铁票
申办居住证后，台港澳居民可凭居住证在内地依法享受劳动就业、参加社会保险、依法缴存提取和使用住房公积金三项权利；居住地政府及有关部门应当为他们提供义务教育、基本公共就业服务、基本公共卫生服务、公共文化体育服务、法律援助和其他法律服务六项基本公共服务。同时，还可以享受在居住地办理机动车登记、申领机动车驾驶证、报名参加职业资格考试、申请授予职业资格、办理生育服务登记以及在内地住宿旅馆，乘坐国内航班、火车等交通运输工具，办理银行、保险、证券和期货等金融服务，同时与内地居民同等待遇购物、购买公园及各类文体场馆的门票、进行文化娱乐、商旅消费九个方面的便利。
以乘高铁为例，之前台港澳人士因证件与大陆的18位身份证不兼容，不能在网上买票，只能排队，非常不方便，居住证解决了这方面的问题。申领居住证以后，台港澳居民还可更便捷地办理内地银行卡、移动支付乃至买股票等。
对一部分香港民众来说，北上申领居住证还有其他好处。据香港东方日报网1日报道，不少居住证申请人表示，在香港住劏房，到内地住豪宅，且生活费用低，又可享内地民众相同福利，是他们办证的主要原因。有港人称，香港连元朗（位于香港西北、远离市中心）的房子都要六七百万港元，且食品物价贵得离谱，而在广东中山或佛山，100多万港元可住上千平方英尺（约合93平方米）的豪宅，且物价只有香港的1/4不到，因此不如拿香港买楼的钱到内地置业，不仅住豪宅，还可拥有豪车。
民进党当局极力阻挠

据报道，申领办法指出需要20个工作日，而北京约需要一周即可办好。
当天展现最高效率的是广西南宁的公安机关，从申请到领取仅用了3个小时，便发出全国首张台湾居民居住证。
截至当天中午，南宁共受理64件，其中台胞占了54人。

另外，福建作为台湾同胞的主要祖籍地和聚集地，最早开放的厦门更是许多台胞工作生活的家。
根据报道，8月6日国务院办公厅印发《港澳台居民居住证申领发放办法》后，厦门台商协会立刻动员起来，除了印发通知宣传并辅导台胞居住证申请，还和厦门市台办联手举办政策说明会，将《台湾居民居住证申领服务手册》发到台胞们的手中。

厦门市台商协会会长吴家莹指出，目前厦门有6000多家台资企业，在厦门生活的台胞超过15万人。台胞可以以公司、机构、组织为单位集中收集，到就近派出所预约办理，有关部门还将进一步开放便民措施。
台媒痛骂台当局一滩死水

各地都在“抢头香”

不用再排队买高铁票
申办居住证后，台港澳居民可凭居住证在内地依法享受劳动就业、参加社会保险、依法缴存提取和使用住房公积金三项权利；居住地政府及有关部门应当为他们提供义务教育、基本公共就业服务、基本公共卫生服务、公共文化体育服务、法律援助和其他法律服务六项基本公共服务。同时，还可以享受在居住地办理机动车登记、申领机动车驾驶证、报名参加职业资格考试、申请授予职业资格、办理生育服务登记以及在内地住宿旅馆，乘坐国内航班、火车等交通运输工具，办理银行、保险、证券和期货等金融服务，同时与内地居民同等待遇购物、购买公园及各类文体场馆的门票、进行文化娱乐、商旅消费九个方面的便利。
以乘高铁为例，之前台港澳人士因证件与大陆的18位身份证不兼容，不能在网上买票，只能排队，非常不方便，居住证解决了这方面的问题。申领居住证以后，台港澳居民还可更便捷地办理内地银行卡、移动支付乃至买股票等。
对一部分香港民众来说，北上申领居住证还有其他好处。据香港东方日报网1日报道，不少居住证申请人表示，在香港住劏房，到内地住豪宅，且生活费用低，又可享内地民众相同福利，是他们办证的主要原因。有港人称，香港连元朗（位于香港西北、远离市中心）的房子都要六七百万港元，且食品物价贵得离谱，而在广东中山或佛山，100多万港元可住上千平方英尺（约合93平方米）的豪宅，且物价只有香港的1/4不到，因此不如拿香港买楼的钱到内地置业，不仅住豪宅，还可拥有豪车。
民进党当局极力阻挠

据报道，申领办法指出需要20个工作日，而北京约需要一周即可办好。
当天展现最高效率的是广西南宁的公安机关，从申请到领取仅用了3个小时，便发出全国首张台湾居民居住证。
截至当天中午，南宁共受理64件，其中台胞占了54人。

根据报道，8月6日国务院办公厅印发《港澳台居民居住证申领发放办法》后，厦门台商协会立刻动员起来，除了印发通知宣传并辅导台胞居住证申请，还和厦门市台办联手举办政策说明会，将《台湾居民居住证申领服务手册》发到台胞们的手中。
由于宣传得当，厦门市台商协会总共号召16000多位台胞参与，签名表达意愿申请居住证的台胞共计8600多位。
厦门市台商协会会长吴家莹指出，目前厦门有6000多家台资企业，在厦门生活的台胞超过15万人。台胞可以以公司、机构、组织为单位集中收集，到就近派出所预约办理，有关部门还将进一步开放便民措施。
台媒痛骂台当局一滩死水
对于台湾陆委会充满冷战思维的“威吓”，《中时电子报》2日以《陆委会应务实协调 胜威吓民众》一文称：“陆委会以‘居住证样式与大陆身份证高度相似’，批评大陆矮化台湾‘主权’地位的政治图谋。然而，居住证制度是大陆户籍改革取代‘暂住证’的一环，大陆外国人居留证也相仿，难道也算矮化外国？难道要用‘中华民国身份证’才算对等、善意？”
