Dr Ting Choon Meng, speaking as a concerned citizen at Jeannette's rally - Stadium Drive

Dr Ting talks about a society that is ill, and its symptoms. Cites suicide rates, stress level, and increase in crime rate.

"Singapore is sick, we got to do something about it."
"We have lost the soul, the soul that makes us human."

"There is a simple fundamental difference between a PAP candidate and an opposition candidate. It is why they join the party." He mentions that the PAP shortlists its candidates, but those contesting as opposition candidates have joined the parties to stand up against all odds.

The biggest problem with the PAP is that they have blurred the line between the party and the government.
"The pap has lost our trust because they are arrogant."
