Yes exactly, that's why I always ask sam to restart from scratch (not using any $ he gained from past, whether thru pimping for other vice activity) to see if he can make it again. boss sam is SMART, but he was also very LUCKY to be born in the right place in the right time. lots of smart people always disregard luck because they think they powerful ,or they think just because they worked hard confirm will get everything they want. that is almost never the case. even being born into a half-decent chinese family in a region full of stupid idiots and drug addicts is pure luck. you dun get to play god with where you're born.

if i remember correctly. even before wall street collapse , before 2008, small businesses in USA have a 80% failure rate! that's in USA, a place that's definitely easier to set up business and find cheap rent if you hunt for it. and before wall street collapse , it was very very easy to get a loan in usa. with the endless amount of illegal immigration in USA, if your business is near the south, it's even easier to get foreign talent or ali baba workers compared to sinkiepore which still need workpermits. even with all that, 80% failure rate in the mid-late 2000's!!!
