瑞迎 became pregnant at the age of 15, but instead of scolding her, her mother simply gave her the support she needed. Eventually, it was she and not the child's father who accompanied her into the delivery room.
Unlike her father, who was unhappy that he had had five daughters and no sons, 瑞迎's mother raised her children without prejudice.
She also always gave the best to her children. Once, when she cooked a fish for dinner, she gave all the meat to her daughters, telling them a white lie -- that she did not like fish herself.
When her father lost money gambling, 瑞迎's mother worked day and night to repay his debts and ensure that her family did not go hungry.
When she was 15, 瑞迎 made friends that led her astray, encouraging her to skip classes. Eventually she became pregnant but wanted to keep the child.
Rather than lose her temper at her daughter, 瑞迎's mother simply asked if she was willing to accept the huge commitment of raising a child herself. When she said yes, her mother stood by her decision.
Later, when 瑞迎 and the father of her child drifted apart, it was her mother that accompanied her into the delivery room, and kept her going through the ordeal with her encouragement.
