Short break in France

Past 2-3 weeks was hell for me as far as work in concerned so early this week decided to take a short break as since I've not been to France for like 3 years decided to spend a week or rather 9 days there arriving CDG this morning.

I was in Paris a few years ago. Love the vibes but hated the cigarette smoke which was everywhere. Hopefully things have got better.

Afraid not. Many French smoke men and ladies all smoke. I saw young students also smoke,

Actually in Paris what I hate is the smell of urine everywhere when you walk on the street.

Nope never been there. Name Steve is kindda turn off for me for a Thai restaurant despite claim it’s owner’s nickname. Secondly looking at the photos looks like it caters more to foreigners despite its claim its homely simple etc looks not so simple and attracts foreigners.

For guys living in Thailand who have gone local like me we have plenty of local choices. I may not risk going to a place like this.

I thought you might say that because it serves Pad Thai which is about the only dish that foreigners are similar with.

Pad Thai is not normally ordered by Thais, same for me I don't really like to eat pad Thai unless no choice.

Yesterday after some shopping had lunch at a nice French restaurant catering more to office staff there

So on Friday took a long walk to Eiffel Tower on teh way could see many things.

Time to go back to hotel

changed to the Metro

Owner Sabestian is the waiter too

Very nice merlot

Various tomatoes and mozzarella

Very frest seabass (raw) with sauce, nice starter

Tuna steak, crispy on the outside and sift inside, perfectly expecuted

9.30pm still bright
