The 29-year-old was national champion as a youth — and also came runner-up in the 2006 Miss Paraguay contest.
Bronzed Leryn isn’t tipped for gold — she came 51st at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. But fans hope she might make it on to the podium
this year.
