finally someone managed to out-bid the Russia's oil machine and it took those cash rich arab to do it.
agreed that maybe Robinho chose Man City, cos he will be a star at least at Man City and will play a part in many of the matches. Unless if he went to Chelsea,he will need to fight for his place. A very logical choice.

Its been reported that the Arabs are going to spend up to US$100M to strengthen the squad and challenge for a top four spot. Lucky Mark Hughes

Yeah but like Ranieri before him at Chelski, Hughes has to now deliver, at least Top 4 EPL and maybe even a cup for this season or he maybe out. EPL going to be even more interesting this season.

actually robinho got no choice because R.Madrid is the one that wants to sell him to Man City rather then Chelsea...but I believe come next season, Robinho would most likely to be wearing Chelsea colors as Man City is simply too small a club for a player of his stature....

Bro,

This Man City buy out by the Abu Dhabi group is truly amazing. They have more $$$ than Roman and appear ready to splash out to get results immediately. More like Kaka and Ronaldhino might br joinning Robinho at Eastlands and I am not kidding. Imagine City are already paying Robinho 165K pounds a week, no one even Clesea and Man U come clsoe to this type of wage. A brave new world.

kaka & ronaldino may not b joining man city.....the news in brazil that robinho joined city is negative.....they argue that city is not playing in the champion league.....most brazilians feel if a brazil player is suppose 2 improve himself & become a great player then itz only 2 join teams like real madrid.....man u.....liverpool or the bigger teams.....another point they questioned is does mark hughes have the abilities 2 manage a team of world class players if the owner do bring in more star players......????.....chances r the owner will sack mark hughes if he didn't do well & bring in a more reputable manager like gus hiddink b4 they get more star players into man city......

$100M ? I think more like $1 Bil from names and offer price they mentioned in their buying list on next transfer window. So lets see whether these ARABs are just talking cock or for real . Cos the prices that they're offering i think every club will agree to sell!
