Bought this little golden baby snake in Brisbane, Oz back in 1989, it was just 10 cm long then and easily hidden in the pocket through custom or whatever then. It grew to a max of about 1.3 m. Non poisonous and bitten no one. Very shiny skin and loves to sleep on top of the TV set for warmth. For the same reason also joins you in bed everynight. My children and neighbourhood kids loved it.

Food: Need one little "silver fish" a day (available from any supermarket in a packet to last 2 months). Never ate more than 3 such fishes. All insects including croachs, ants.... and lizards disappeared from the house for years then.

Maintenance : Never pee. Only shit once every few days. Changes skin about once ever 2 or 3 months.

The pet shop at Brisbane said that this snake is now a protected reptile in Oz.

The family missed it.

You mean its gone now? Sorry to hear that. I thought snakes live a very long life like tortoises guess I'm wrong.
