Workers' Party chief Low Thia Khiang at a rally on Tuesday (22 Jan 13) night that it was not workable for all opposition parties to come together.

Last night WP rally Ms Lee mentioned that "There is a great imbalance in Parliament right now, that is why there is an urgent need to vote more Workers' Party candidates into Parliament,"

WP very clever la. Say unity not possible because other opposition too reckless. But say need more opposition in parliament. So who you left to vote for?

Then they say they keep quiet bec they are responsbile, then claim credit when things change because they wrote some manifesto.

But then they say they never keep quiet, and without them no AIM saga. But they say they wait for review, then they bring it up in rally.

Are you talking about the PAP? Many of their MPs are absent during parliamentary sittings. The members from the party always attend.

The problem with the other parties is that they don't want to do the grunt work and expect to win their seat. They are no different from the PAP in that respect.

It is a BE and these opportunistic parties, instead of respecting the previous arrangement, decided to try their luck. And they expect the WP to give in to them. Why should it when the WP has been working in the ward from the last election?

Precisely why I do not understand the reasons for people to join the smaller parties or form their own small parties.

Just join the WP if you want a platform.

Alternatively, band at least 100 members together (of which 20 can be fielded as candidates) and form a proper party. Not those one man show types.
