If he was just a junior officer or an NCO, he would not have done so. It is no big deal sitting in an office making ludicrous planning with total disregard how their battle plans would hurt the troops on the ground. Let a few hundreds die, it is no big deal. That's how supposed leaders in sinkapore think.
