A TAXI made a big splash on Sunday morning when it took an unexpected turn - into a condominium's swimming pool.

The cabby went to the Upper Bukit Timah Road condo to fulfil a booking job, said ComfortDelGro spokesman Tammy Tan.

Due to heavy rain, he could not see clearly and made a wrong turn onto what he thought was the road leading to the lobby.

The driver escaped unhurt before police arrived on the scene after 5.30am. The taxi was later removed from the pool.
