The ref's argument would be that before City scored their third goal, it was already decided that there would be 4 minutes injury time.
After they scored the third goal. he added another 30 seconds.
When United made their third substitution, he added another 30 seconds.
When United scored their fourth goal, he added another 30 seconds.
Not saying that this is right, but that would be the argument.

The Definitive Explanation For The Six Minutes Of Injury Time

We Covered This In 16 Conclusions, But...
This probably won't make it , but here is an explanation of the 6 minutes of added time:

From re-winding the Match, Craig Bellamy scored City's 3rd on 89:55. The game does not restart until 91:01. One minute and six seconds have been wasted and will be added onto the original four minutes of added time, taking it to at least 95:06. Michael Carrick was brought on to replace Anderson. All substitutions add 30 seconds onto added time, taking it to 95: 36

Owen scored the winner on 95:28, meaning the game was still 8 seconds within added time.

Man Utd have played 3 unbeaten teams played in a row
And 3 teams unbeaten records have gone,
as i has correctly predicted yet again.
One of the best derby matches
that I have ever seen in my life-time!!

A former Loserpool player getting the winning goal in the Manchester derby
to make it 4-3 in front of the Stretford End,
Michael Owen has truly arrived.

Fazed? This is a striker who scored against Argentina and Brazil and a hat trick against Germany. What can faze him? Of course, age and injuries are catching up and slowing him down. But certainly unfazable under whatever grand atmosphere or pressure. Instead, I think all Manchester United's opponents will start to faze at the 60th minute if he's brought on.

Mr Tevez certainly looked faze to me.:p

took away the 30 seconds that the ref added after United's fourth goal, that should only be 1 minutes of injury-time plus the 4 minutes that he already decided, and that only came out to 1 more minutes of injury-time to add. but MU scored in the 95 minutes and 25/26 seconds,it is slightly over the limit. if what you said is to be accepted, then the ref should have blown the whistle in the 95th minutes.

but no point arguing about it now,if this were to happen in South America, the referee would have been a dead man. it is already history,so let move on.

maybe later in the season,if this refereee were to take charge of another involving Man City,he may try to make-up for it.

Re: Concerns on Ferdinand

Growing concerns on Rio's fitness. Centre back has missed 30 of the past 52 matches involving United and England as nagging injuries take their toll on his body. Since April, he has started back-to-back competitive games on only two occasions.

In my opinion, they need to look for his replacement sooner rather than later.
But first, they need to find a replacement for VDS and Ronaldo!

Stoke City Vs. Manchester United
Britannia Stadium
Saturday, 26 September 2009
22:00pm

Stoke will park the double-decker bus
at their goal-mouth for the whole 90 minutes
and try to counter-attack
with that dipstick Rory Delap's throw-ins.

But Man Utd are simply too strong for them
and a win by three goal margin is a given.

Prediction:
Stoke 0 Mau Utd 3 or more

Tonite's game may be cancelled after several Man U players were hit by suspected food poisoning last night. They suffered vomitting and diahorrea after having a meal at a South Indian restaurant in Greater Manchester. Ben Foster, Tomas Kuczak, Mike Owen, Dimitri Berbatov, Wayne Rooney, Patrice Evra were warded for further observation while Rio Ferdinand, Jonny Evans, Ryan Giggs, Anderson, Antonio Valencia, Edwin van der Sar, Darren Fletcher, Nemajic Vidic & Alex Ferguson were discharged after medication were prescribed.

Man Utd 2 Wolfsburg 1

It is now 8 wins in a row,
without those 2 dipsticks C.Ronaldo
and traitor Tevez
so Sir Alex is right on the money as always
about getting rid of them.
1 goal and 1 assist
from the living legend,
Sir Ryan Giggs.
Too bad for Owen,
looks like his world cup dream is over.:(

C. Ronaldo is in top form, scored 2 goals each against Zurich and Marseille, giving Real Madrid 3-goal winning margins at both games (5:2, 3:0).

However, if he doesn't reproduce this type of form for Portugal v. Hungary next week, his World Cup dreams look bleaker than M. Owen's.

Bad news for Michael Owen,
but good news with more playing time
for Wellbeck and Boy Wonder Kiko Macheda.

Owen out after new injury setback

Manchester United striker Michael Owen could be out of action for up to three weeks after injuring his groin in the Champions League win over Wolfsburg.

Owen limped out of Wednesday's 2-1 Group B victory after only 20 minutes.

England boss Fabio Capello was in the crowd but the injury looks to have ended Owen's chances of being selected for the match in Ukraine on 10 October.

"Groin injuries are difficult to say. He could be out two or three weeks," said United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

"His fitness levels are good so we shouldn't need to worry too much about it. We will treat it as a normal groin injury."

Ferguson also revealed that Owen had been troubled by his groin prior to the match."He felt his groin after training on Sunday and he trained a little bit on Monday but had a rest day on Tuesday and he thought he was fine," added Ferguson.

With England travelling to Ukraine for the World Cup Group 6 qualifier on 10 October, Owen's latest injury once again puts pay to his chances of selection when the squad is announced next week.
England coach Capello is regularly quizzed on Owen's chances of featuring for his country again and stipulates that the striker, who has scored 40 international goals in 89 caps, must be playing regularly to even be considered for a recall.

The 29-year-old has been trying to shake off his reputation as injury prone since signing for United on a free from Newcastle in the summer and was granted a rare start to prove himself in Wednesday's match at Old Trafford.

However, his contribution was minimal before he limped off to be replaced by Dimitar Berbatov.

England has already qualified and confirmed won the group. Send 11 limping schoolboys out there against Ukraine also nevermind makes no difference. Only thing is if so, Croatia will make lots of complaints.

MU should not have any broblem against Sunderland.
Owen's injury, this is nothing new. He never fully recovered from his hamstring injury, this type of injury is very troublesome...will always come back if not very careful or over-exert.

fergie knew it when he signed him.

Turned out the contrary, narrow escape against Sunderland - Manchester United almost beaten and lucky to save a point.

Yes, Man Utd on the whole were awful but
at least they got the a point out of the game
and kept themselves unbeaten at home this season.
Credit must be given to Sunderland
who did well and could have taken all three pts.
Just hope it does not come back
to haunt Man Utd later on in the season.:(

Man Utd 2 Bolton 1

Back to top of the table where we rightly belong
and overall a good performance.
To top it off both Chelski and Loserpool lost.
YES, a perfect day on the pitch with a beach ball for Sir Alex!
