SINGAPORE - A former sales assistant at a clothing shop was jailed for four weeks on Wednesday for filming women in the changing room.
Tan Wee Sien, now a full-time national serviceman, had stood on a ladder in the storeroom of the shop in Cathay Orchard Cineleisure to commit four of five offences of insulting modesty.
The 22-year-old, who admitted to two of the five charges, was working in the shop between May and July 2013.
He was caught on July 14 that year, when a customer noticed a mobile phone at the top of the fitting room while she was changing.
