A 38-year-old man is helping the police with investigations into a hit-and-run accident which left a cyclist in critical condition. Police said they are taking the statement of the man, and that no arrest or charges have been made.

SINGAPORE: A 38-year-old man is helping the police with investigations into a hit-and-run accident which left a cyclist in critical condition.

Police said they are taking the statement of the man, and that no arrest or charges have been made.

The victim was hit while cycling along Mandai Road on Tuesday night.

The driver is believed to have been chased by another driver.

He then allegedly fled after suggesting they return to the scene of the accident.
