The eight Thai women that Tan Chiang Wah is accused of harbouring, stayed in private apartments in areas known for late-night dining.
Tan, 36, was charged on Nov 18 with allegedly operating a prostitution ring at Rangoon Apartment on Rangoon Road, and Pristine Heights and Clydes Residence - both on Mergui Road, off Balestier Road.
Between June 11 and Sept 18 last year, Tan had allegedly procured the women, whose ages ranged from 19 to 35, from a flat in Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.
Tan, who is a Singaporean, faced 10 charges of procuring the women for prostitution.
He faces another 10 charges of living off the women's earnings.
