Man arrested for serial laptop thefts

The police have arrested a man for his suspected involvement a series of theft.
On Apr 30, two police reports were lodged on the theft of a laptop from a tertiary institution located at Dover Road.
The police had also received earlier reports of stolen laptops from the same location.
After reviewing CCTV footage and conducting follow-up investigations, the police established the suspect's identity and arrested him.
Two laptops worth $3,800 and the clothing worn by the suspect during the thefts were uncovered.
He is suspected of at least 3 cases of laptop thefts island-wide.
If convicted, he faces a maximum jail term of three years, or fine, or both.
