Internet is flooded with iPhone 5 owners' complaints

Many excited Apple customers stood in line for hours Friday to get their hands on the shiny new iPhone 5,
only to discover nicks and scratches on the smartphones straight out of the box.

Dissatisfied buyers took to message boards dedicated to Apple products, complaining about slight yet pesky
scuffs and scrapes near the antenna markers on the side of the device or close to the screen.

Any brothers here encounter such problems?

Apple is learning from Microsoft windows, keep pushing out half baked OS..especially the horrendous Vista..and keep sending out hundreds of patches later-on..by the time they think they got rid of most bugs..they come out with another half baked newer OS..and dig your pockets again..

If you want to hate Apple, hate it for the right reasons (shoddy TomTom maps, lack of NFC).

A larger screen and a new connector are not good reasons to hate Apple.

Without the new connector, the iPhone 5 would not be merely 7.6mm in thickness.

I don't mind having an iPhone, the build quality and large variety of apps are certainly very attractive.
But I see no reason to rush out and buy one on launch day.

Queuing is not a Singapore phenomenon. Other countries have had it long before. In Singapore it started picking up steam in the mid 90s when allowed vendors and promoters to give away samples of new products in at Raffles Place.

Those who have not travelled outside Singapore assume that it is peculiar to Singapore.

their lives are so empty that the bragging rights of being the 1st amongst equals to get the iphone5 will give them a sense of euphoria that will last for days/weeks till the next new gadget.
