I think you are absolutely right there , his wife must have known his ECA activities after his marriage but she is probably unwilling to let go a man who has started to get famous in acting. Any woman will admire a rising star in the movie industry , she gets as much attention as Jack when they are in public places. At the same time he is also making good money , why kill a golden goose that lay golden eggs? It will be lonely , depessing and scary to be divorced and fend for herself if she confronts Jack much earlier.
