I agree. Thats why i say will take 20 to 30 years. It will take a while before they run out of growth. They currently just rely on distribution and price off.
The distribution market will consolidate in the meantime, which will definitely shorten the distribution process. Greater communication flow will also mean converging likes and dislikes. The failures of the Chinese brands will be studied and they will recognise the value of Brand Equity.
These will create an environment where Marketing will be needed to provide the next growth. However, all these takes time and i am predicting 20 to 30 years, which is also about 1 generation where the younger generation comes into power.
