A while ago, I was in Fragrant Harbour for a hiking holiday and took the opportunity to take the newly completed MTR extension line to HKU and visit their new centennial campus. Not bad, small and cramped but quite well designed and modern.

On a student notice board, two posters caught my eye:

1) From 6th to 9th January 2016, a HKU student delegation will be visiting Singapore. The topic of the tour is: "Singapore: The Post Lee Kuan Yew Era".

2) Close to the 1st notice is another one - tour to North Korea from 22nd to 29th December - a language and sports exchange tour.

Very appropriate putting North Korea and Singapore in the same boat.

For the Singapore tour, these impressionable Hongkie students will meet the following high powered dignatories:

a) Kwong Kin Ming, former researcher at LKY School of Public Policy;

b) Young leader of PAP [wonder who?];

c) Young leader of WP, the "major opposition party" or PAP team B [wonder who?];

d) Elvis Presley of NTU - wah didn't know Universities of Birmingham and Newcastle is so "solid" one arh;

e) Founder of Snapask, a very high-tech start-up in Sinkieland, specialising in sending Sinkie morons to Mars if they don't do their homework properly i.e. online tuition app wor!

After having a good laugh, I decided to visit the main building, Loke Yew Hall, named after Malaysian tin and rubber tycoon, before departing for the airport.

Comments please ............. and will IBs from both camps please update us on the tour as it is unfolding ........... why they don't meet Chee Soon Juan or Kenneth Jeyaretnam or Amos Yee ..........

On the way to North Korea, they should also tour their national capital Beijing too.

The Hongkie students can go tour Hougang SMC and Aljunied GRC. This would give them an idea of the fiscal mismanagement under a one-party rule that tolerates no dissent and won't answer to Parliament regarding their shenanigans. Look at the state of the flats in Hougang.

Hopefully the students will come back safely from N Korea. Otherwise, Mr Tung or Mr Tsang will have to go there to try and get them back, just like what Mr Clinton did for his fellow Americans who were detained in N Korea. :wink:

You forgot that HK is now part of PRC!

PRC and NK are BFF, so they won't anyhow arrest and detain PRC citizens.

Retard, why u post a retro pic from the past taken from the national archives? If u want point to old HDB pigeon holes, Tanjong Pagar is a good one. 40 - 50 year old HDB flats.

You have a valid point, but don't you think it would be great if Mr Tung or Mr Tsang had to go to N Korea to negotiate, just like what Mr Clinton did? :wink:

Opposition figures or dissenters who think that these Hongkie students will learn more about dirty Sinkie politics by having a face to face chat with them can call the organisers:

After some top secret snooping around, I managed, against all odds, to obtain a copy of their itinerary.

On morning of Day 2 of the tour i.e. 7th January 2016, these pesky little Hongkie kids will be doing an "in-depth tour of Little India" by visiting a temple and some tourist centre. The theme for the entire day is supposed to be "Crucial Planning of Singapore: Lee Kuan Yew's Mastermind"!

Little India riots show the brilliance of LKY's master plan - make sure you buy enough ambulances and train your police well in 100 metre sprint ......... bwahahahaha!

Okay, here is the full itinerary:

http://www.easternvision.hk/student_tour.php?tour_sub_id=19

Frankly, I don't think much of the programme, but you can always show up at Hong Lim Park on afternoon of 8th January and ..................

Mmmmm ........... on morning of 8th January, meet representative of WP immediately after meeting representative of PAP .......... offices very near to each other? Might as well meet together ....... team A and B what's the difference ........... interested to know who are the "activists" they will be meeting ......... will ISD follow them about town?

The masterplan is to make the voters stupid and suckers for cheap cha kway teow and then import non-voters to do the difficult jobs:
