Curious to know if Harry Helmi is considered an "educated Malay"..
@Loofydralb - your thoughts please
I say he is the 'modern' PAP Malay. Borderline apostate.
Ramadhan is not a time for festive and celebration. Not shopping and mall crawling. Not splurge and wasteful.
Ramadhan is time for worship and comtemplation and mindfullness about what Allah wants us to do. A time to hold our thoughts and tongue.
So his presence at a bazaar during break fast time would indicate that he would miss the sunset prayers. What good would a muslim be if he fasts but misses his prayers?
He also exhibits bad time management. A trait common among borderline apostates. Prayer and break fast times are a known information. He can't be there earlier? He can't figure out that this isn't his first time missing a table? He can't figure out what needs to be changed?
May Allah close down Ramadhan bazaars as one of the places that Allah unfavours the most is the market.
