Four Mongolians arrested for stealing at airport

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested four Mongolian nationals (three men and one woman), who are believed to have conspired to steal a wallet from a passenger at Changi Airport, Terminal One.
The victim was queuing up to enter the passenger departure gate when one of the suspects suddenly cut in before him. The startled victim then found himself surrounded by the three other suspects.
After the suspects left, the passenger discovered that his wallet containing about S$300 was missing from his sling bag.
Police managed to identify the suspects, who were arrested two days later when they arrived at the airport at about 8.30am.
A search of the suspects uncovered an assortment of foreign currencies, cash of some
S$645 and a digital camera which are believed to be stolen items.
The four suspects will be charged on Saturday. If convicted, they can be fined and jailed for up to three years.
