It's by Imagi, the same hong kong studio that made the animated films, "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" and "Astro Boy":

For your info, the tv Banana Splits came before Swenson came to S'pore! There was a 5 mins segment in the show called "Danger Island". We used to follow it very closely back then. If u ask me, I prefer Danger Island 100 times to that stupid "Lost" series.

Anybody know a mid 70s mecha anime where each of the vehicles will split open in L shape and form the face of the robot that emerged from a moutain. think its 4 robots and one of them had chains coming out. been trying to find but cant.
