CERTAIN dates in 2012 will not be auspicious for giving birth, a geomancy master has told China Press.
According to Chinese astrology, this is the year of the Dragon and many Chinese have joined in the rush, hoping to give birth to a “dragon baby” as it is viewed as an auspicious symbol.

Malaysian Institute of Geomancy Sciences (MINGS) founder Prof David Koh said every animal had its good and bad points.

“Not all Dragon babies are successful in life. It mainly depends on their date of birth,” he said.
For this year, from the first month to the fifth month and the 11th month of the Chinese calendar are considered good months for giving birth.

However, children born on certain dates are prone to autism.

The dates are March 22, 23, 28 and 29; April 1, 2, 7, 8, 11, 12, 17, 18, 21-28; May 1, 2, 7, 8, 11, 12, 17, 18, 21, 22, 27, 28 and 31.
Other dates which are not so good are June 1, 6, 7, 10, 11, 16 and 17; Oct 22 and 23; Nov 1, 2, 11, 12, 21 and 22; Dec 1, 2, 11 and 12.

Chinese dragon is not the same as western dragon.

Similarly, in the Chinese zodiac, there are no negative connotations for the animals rat and dog.

In fact, the Dragon year has already started for the Japanese - on January 1st.

Just as for all zodiac animals, some will succeed while others will not but East Asians like the Koreans, Chinese and Japanese (also with the Himalayas Bhutanese/Tibetans) want to give birth to baby dragons as the dragon is an auspicious sign in their culture.

Westerners/and followers of a certain religion on the other hand sees the dragon as devil and satanic and sadly, converted Asians now also blindly follow the same intepretations. Evangelists will deliberately pick up anything to demonise the dragons like the above Fengshui quote so as to dismiss Asians' beliefs of the dragon as an auspicious creature.

This is also a subtle and hidden proseyltisation effort to propagate a certain religion by putting down other cultural/religious identification .

Some tribes had snakes on their flags, some deers, some fish, some crocodiles, some eagles etc. etc. He took the flags of every tribe united as China and combined them into a common design that became the Chinese dragon. It has represented China and Chineseness ever since.

In those days, Chinese clock and calendar weren't invented yet. By the time those were invented, Dragon was placed in the fifth Chinese hour on the clock as that was 7 a.m. rise and shine hour and therefore also on fifth year on the calendar.

Yes, please do more reading of ancient text instead of smoking whatever you're smoking now. Whatever you're smoking now is also not Chinese opium as poppy has never been grown in China.
