（中央社記者林紳旭台北22日電）民進黨主席蔡英文參選總統落敗後宣布辭去黨主席，民進黨今天舉行中央執行委員會，會中鼓掌通過由高雄市長陳菊代理黨主席，29日和蔡英文交接。
對黨內推舉陳菊代理黨主席，在中執會召開之前，前行政院長、中常委謝長廷受訪時說，「陳菊是很好的人選、資歷夠」。
蔡英文將於29日和代理黨主席交接後卸任，民進黨預定於3月底辦理領表登記，5月27日舉行黨主席選舉。1010222
陳菊：穩定局勢 平撫黨內人心
（中央社記者林紳旭台北22日電）民進黨中執會今天鼓掌通過由高雄市長陳菊代理黨主席。人在美國的陳菊透過辦公室發表聲明表示，同志殷切期待，不該推辭；首要任務是穩定選後局勢、平撫黨內的人心。
但陳菊也指出，做為高雄市長，高雄市民的託付，仍是她內心最大的顧念；以高雄市政優先，也是她始終堅守的崗位，這些都不會有所改變。
民進黨主席蔡英文參選總統落敗，請辭黨主席，民進黨下午召開中執會，鼓掌通過由陳菊代理黨主席。
陳菊發表聲明表示，再次感謝蔡英文在2008年風雨飄搖之際，毅然扛起這個黨，帶領民進黨從失望中站起來，讓民進黨恢復生機，也讓民進黨有了更好的起步點，下一段路程，將走得更有氣力、更具信心。
陳菊說，她首要任務是穩定選後的局勢、平撫黨內的人心，讓前、後任主席能順利交替，也要讓民進黨用最快的時間，從2012大選未能獲勝的遺憾中，鼓起勇氣，重新出發，繼續為台灣民主維繫命脈、尋求前途。
陳菊指出，她也將呼應廣大黨員與支持者的心聲，透過民進黨一向以來的民主討論傳統，集合眾人之智，共商黨是國是，找出未來前進的方向，突破當下傾斜的政治結構。
她說，「我們沒有懷憂喪志的時間，因為台灣人民正在等待著，就讓我們即刻出發吧」。
