DBS Group appoints two new board members

SINGAPORE: DBS Group Holdings appointed on Wednesday two new non-executive directors to its board.

They are Australian Andre Sekulic, 61, and former CEO of JTC Corporation Ow Foong Pheng, 48.

Mr Sekulic formerly worked for MasterCard Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa between 1998 and 2009.

He currently sits on the boards of comGateway (S) Pte Ltd, ourGroup Inc (USA), Queenstar Pte Ltd and Insourcing International Pty Ltd.

Mrs Ow formerly served as Second Permanent Secretary for Trade and Industry between 2009 and 2011.

She was the CEO of JTC Corp between 2004 and 2006.

Both appointments will take effect from Thursday.

DBS also announced that Kwa Chong Seng, 65, had stepped down from its board.

1. Isn't Mrs Ow the current PS for the Ministry of Trade and Industry?
Why isn't this mentioned in the report, or has this changed?
Btw, Ng How Yue aka Mr Tintin replaced her as the 2nd PS.

2. Are there any DBS branches or ATMs in Desaru?
