No bro - not necessarily fake - but Fil Lumiere yarn (the shiny heavy silk weave type) polo was the one of choice for the bookies and forefathers of HFJ...I am not even going to open story about how the Montagut flower evolved over the years - from small, to full size back to small then coloured (in the late 80s) and then back to small flower - buttons also evolved....

Not up there, but with them, never knew you were the Montagut crowd...heh heh heh, Fred Perry, I use for playing tennis in & for some informal occasion the polo T's.

Fred Perry is very much in the news these days since he was the last Brit to win Wimbledon, and Andy Murray is now playing Federer.
But can't remember his brand of shirts though, and funny also that no other tennis players since then have their own line............

Boh leh, mine is a checked (or is it chequered) polo shirt, material same as any other brand of polo shirt, not smooth or shining.
Don't tell me I got a fake!!!!! hahaha.................

The type I mentioned was super popular in the 70s and 80s. If you have a similar one today, it's terribly obiang.
Maybe can only find someone with those t-shirts in a larsapbar.

I remember buying Smash Hits, Roy of the Rovers and Beano mags - there was a monthly movie mag (was that Fanfare?) about movies being released - Daryl Hannah in Clan of the Cave Bear....mmmmm

The Mats had Gila Gila which was a Mat version of Mad magazine....and of course there was Lat.....

I still remember a dumb joke from Kitchi boy: What do you get when a New Zealander marries a girl from Poland? Ans: Kiwi Polish.....

Ah Roy of the Rovers..what about Hotshot Hamish ?..Lat's stiLL my favourite tiLL this day, have a mini coLLecton
of his comics on my sheLf..

I didn't even realise Montagut was supposed to be "branded", just bought it because it looked interesting and was probably on sale.
Can't even have been 10 years I reckon, from some department store like metro or taka or the like....................

Better check. Does not sound like Montagut at all.

I just did, one thing for sure, it's spelt Montagut. It even has a "Paris" below the Montagut on the label.

No offense bro but I doubt they have a market for Montagut number 2. Adidas, Nike, Puma, Lacoste maybe. Montagut products are reasonably priced. Not many 'followers'. Unlikely you kena fake.

I have not watched tennis since I stopped playing the game, so Federer, Murray & whoever out there I am not familiar with. Fred P was the last British to win the title and that was years ago. I enjoyed watching Borg, McEnroe, Connors etc.. slugging it out on court and that was long time back.

No matter even if fake, it's been washed so many times, it's probably more suitable for wearing at home now.
Anyway never had any interest in "branded" stuff, as long as comfortable, good value (long lasting), ok looking, good enough for me.

Agree. It is almost always the younger ones who need these branded goods. When one gets older, usually past 50, priorities change. The ability to get an erection is more important than seemee branded products. Even when dressed up with all branded stuff from head to toes, but bei ngei, what's the point!
