I'll be joining a group of civil society leaders to talk about the cost of living in Singapore this Sunday 29 Jan (3-5pm) at Orange & Teal (Rochester).
Titled: "GST hike and rising cost of living: Is the ruling elite stealing our rice bowls?", this event is the first of 3-part series of "townhall: meetings to address this concern of Singaporeans.

Orange & Teal hosted a group of activists on Sunday where they talked about the cost of living and how it's hurting working Singaporeans. It was standing room only.
The highlight was that the speakers and the crowd comprised younger Singaporeans who spoke from the heart and with passion.

My heart goes out to the people of Turkiye and Syria who are going through the horror of the earthquake where more than 20,000 people have died. And Godspeed to our SCDF officers dispatched to assist in the rescue effort.
