Lets hear your views of Philip Yeo's son doing his PHD under the supervision of an eminent scholar at SALK whose trip and events over the years was sponsored by A*star when Philip was heading the outfit. The enrollment for the programe was also done when he was still heading A*Star.

I brought this up as this has been a conversation piece for sometime and do appreciate any comments by those in the know about its veracity.

U must be talking about Fred Rusty Gage. Ok lah, let this chap mentor Yeo jr. Who cares? If Yeo jr turns out to be an idiot, or not very noteworthy and does not publish much, than it looks bad on Gage. Anyway, Jr. is just bidding his time, and finish his studies and research at Salk. He wants to eventually return to singapore and train s'pore scientists. Lord help us.
