Yes we are being persecuted so we also take our revenge on the kids !
All our various church leaders have been constantly abusing kids to take revenge for these so called persecutions.. One example is rwanda where our church acted in full complicity with the hutus to exterminate the tutsi pests.

Yes...there are going to have plague after plagues after plagues. What the world has experienced and witnessed thus far is just a rehearsal to the real big one to come...so get ready for the plagues that are yet to come! But we are reminded, we, meaning our physical bodies may be deistroyed, but our spirits live on forever. The question is: Where do our spirits going to be? But interesting to note that even though there were plagues that had destroyed human yet the world's population has been increasing. The problem today is not of low population but over-population. In fact, over-population is not a problem if we truly obey God's commandments and if men are not greedy. There are enough to go around - food-wise. But because of greedy businessmen, many turn agriculture land into golf clubs, burning forest and destroying agriculture land, etc just to make some short-term profits.
So, don't put all the blames squaredly on God. He has never intended things to be like they were before and they are today. Just one word explains all: Sin.
Having said all these....bad news for you...get ready...more plagues are coming from financial plagues to plagues of diseases to food shortage to digital/virtual crimes to energy-crisis to absolute moral decay to corruption at unprecedented scale by people in authority to faminly decline to.....(fill in the blank yourself)......they will be here....and here soon. But good news for people who accept the blood of Jesus because only Jesus can save us from destruction, from the plagues.
