A STORE manager was charged in a district court on Friday with two counts of theft and attempted theft from parked taxis at multi-storey carparks.
Lam Kam Wah, 46, believed to be involved in a series of similar cases, allegedly tried to steal items from a taxi at the multi-storey carpark at Block 687 Woodlands Drive 75 at 1.17am on Wednesday. He is also said to have stolen a CashCard with a stored value of $30 and coins amounting to $35 from a taxi, and a 5,000 rupiah note (70 cents) from another vehicle at two other carparks between Wednesday and Thursday. Lam was remanded for further investigation. He will be back in court on Oct 30.
