The police have seized a parcel containing a tube of toothpaste that’s suspected to contain cannabis extract in a parcel addressed to “YB Mohd Rafizi Bin Ramli & Anwar Ibrahim” in Prisma Tower, Putrajaya (where the Ministry of Economy is headquartered).
An officer working in the inquiry office of the Ministry of Economy lodged a police report after receiving a call from the Pulau Meranti J&T delivery service hub.
Sepang district police chief Assistant Commissioner Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof said that based on the information received, it was suspected that the parcel contained prohibited items since the office received a parcel containing ‘cannabis leaf’ last week.
On 10 March, two police officers and the complainant went to the delivery centre in Sepang around 6.30pm where the parcel was confiscated.
According to Malay Mail, the investigation found that the confiscated items had no connection with the addressees.

Inside the parcel was a tube of toothpaste labelled “Happy Green” with patterns of marijuana leaves in green and white.
The toothpaste came in a brown box and weighed 80g.
The police said the item was bought through an online shopping platform using an address in Indonesia.
The case is being investigated under Section 6 of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 by the Putrajaya police’s narcotics division.
Section 6 deals with the restriction on the possession of raw opium, coca leaves, poppy-straw, and cannabis.
