Im not sure how to transfer to Ximending. What are my options?

There is a airport bus just outside the terminal. Ask around and ppl will direct you. The airport is not too big. The bus drive you straight to those hotels around XMD.

Take Toward You bus, Western Line, and alight @ Taipei Railway Station, which is located together with Taipei MRT and HSR. Take MRT from Taipei Railway Station to Ximengding Station. It's one stop away.

I highlighted for you. 台北車站 is opposite 西门町 but depending on your luggage it can be pain in the ass to walk across huge bridges etc, long winded. I did it before with 3 heavy bags, sweat even in winter KNN!

Oh! I forgot! That was long ago before they got 捷运 when I walked. Now there is train to take from 台北车站 to 西门站。Just one stop, depending on your destination that one stop may slightly overshot. Then you back-track a bit.

Have you not heard of "google"? I was puzzle when you asked how to get to Ximending!, even I have not gone to Taiwan for ages, I have googled for reading purpose about xmending & is aware of the Taipei MRT lines etc that goes there.
