SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 44-year-old man believed to be involved in a series of break-ins in Ang Mo Kio.
A resident spotted the man behaving suspiciously at the common corridor of an HDB block at Ang Mo Kio Ave 3 on Thursday morning and called the Police.
Police officers found a man fitting the description at one of the upper floors of the block.
He was arrested for housebreaking following an interview.
Police said the man is believed to be involved in at least four break-ins in estate.
The suspect will be charged in court on Saturday for Housebreaking and Theft by Night.
If convicted he can be jailed for up to 14 years and caned.
