tell me about it. roads in the sf bay area are some of the worst in the nation. there are cracks, unevenness and potholes everywhere. in fact, the 2nd and 3rd worst are in sf and sj respectively. roads in socal are the worst. these are wealthy cities with extremely high tax returns, yet only pennies are spent per resident when it comes to road improvements.

with these 3 metro areas in the top 3, it's no wonder that california as a state is crumbling with her infrastructure, especially roadways, freeways, bridges, public transit, railways, power grid, waterways, drainage, etc.
