Thank you Bro Narong for highlighting this iritating problem... Almost everyday I would received at least 3 such SMSes.. Legal Loans, real estates... Its a damn nuisance..
Those who call up always kena question by me how they got the number and tell them never to call again.
But helpless to deal with the smses, cannot reply to f them....call the number also no answer.
Use unsub function also doesnt work.
Call up the telco they said as long as infront add <ADV> to the sms then it's not illegal....wtf?!?!
Was told by friends in insurance industry that banks are the ones giving out (read sell) the database of customers.
And also lucky draws forms collected by companies which ended up in the wrong hands.
The biggest culprits are the Telcos. They offer unlimited sms to spammers. Any idiot would know a few hundred smses going out at one time can only be spam. Its their onus to protect their subscribers but nobody tells them not to so they happily join in the fun.
Now you call IDA and the stupid civil servant who answer you will tell you to sue the spammers with your own lawyer (and your own money of course.) I asked her why bother with the toothless spam act then. Each govt department, esp $8 cow, will take turns coming out with stupid acts with no teeth then how? She saw the logic and tried to squirm her way out, telling there are people who welcomed spam (I think must be the 60% who voted PAP).
Next I called up Starhub. The cbkia tried to be a smartass, told me Starhub will then block all sms even from my friends and family. Fucked him left, right and centre until he went to his sup and return to tell me they will now block all <ADV> sms but only if it from starhub subscriber. You have to call M1 and Stinktel. These guys are smarter. The moment you say spam, the bitches will immediately hang up. The trick is to talk cock first, put them at ease, ask for their full name and then bring up the question of spam sms that is annoying you. Keep them on the line, ask them to trace every spam caller and asked them to do something. People waste your time, you waste theirs. More fun than chat line or writing "I agree" to own clones to score forum points.

If you guys are feeling frustrated, go get a marker, write the spammer phone and name in toilet doors like 'I am so hungry I can eat a cock right now, call me now 9xxx xxxx' or "Lonely china girl looking for bao bei, 60 years above welcomed!"

They are not taking any actions.

I am going to let those licensed moneylenders to take care as I believe they will have contact with most of those illegal moneylenders.
