What you have seen above was polled from Internet savvy people.

What about ah peks and ah sohs and others clueless on Internet?

A lunch today at a hawker center was so revealing of the groundswell for change.

I had lunch in hawker center this afternoon.
I overheard talk of voting from people around a table next to my table, people I never known before.

They felt since the promises from PAP have been empty, the apology they heard was as empty as the promises.

I started to talk with them, a lady and 2 elderly men.

How important the vote against the PAP will be.

I was surprised when I walked away, 4 other tables around us, with about 5-6 people each table, broke out in cheers that wind of changes will come with their votes for opposition.

I never knew any of them. I do not think the people around the tables knew of other tables.

I think that is indicative of the current ground swell.

Leaked talks from PAP that they get 60% are deliberately leaked to try to claw back some votes. Those kind of talks have as much substance as PAP promises, or apology.

At best, just words that they want to put in your ears without any substance to them.

We know the answer on the 8th.

PAP will be lucky to get 45% of the total vote!

Hanged. Some doggies must have reported this and got it blocked. A positive news on Opposition victory could draw some votes for that particular constituency because of human nature ie. wanting to be associated with winners.

Must be heavy traffic on that bandwidth. I just checked that to be ok.
Go try again. You will be amazed!

4:11 am now and I should be sleeping. But find sleeping difficult.

I earlier said PAP might get 45% of the votes. That was on the premise that 20% will be diehard PAP supporters no matter what. And 15% will leaned to them. I threw in another 10% just in case.

I was being extremely generous to them. When you see the online survey done on well over 800 people, you would have seen 1.38% vote according to upgrading plans their estate will get and 98.6% for more alternate debate in parliament.

In another related poll on who will serve our interests better, only 4% believe in the ruling party, 83% believe in the opposition and 8% are cynics believing in none at all.

The corner of the hawker center I sat in was as random as you can get. What were the chance that 5-6 tables of ah peks and ah sohs be all pro change? I did not know them, and as said before, they probably did not know other tables.

I speak like I write. Articulate enough. In Chinese and English. But I was touched to receive applause from all of them.

What is the percentage of that group voting for change? 100% picked at random.

You seen enough of those figures batted about by PAP doggies as 60% plus minus something stupid to impress you with the range.

But we know how they are like with figures. Didnt we see 100 million for YOG ballooned up to 340++ million?
Didnt we see $8 for heart operation now turning into $25,000?
That is the credibility that they display to all of us.

Will it even be possible that my estimate of 45% was way too much even for them to get?

Might it be possible that some of the PAP candidates might not even get back their deposit?

Let us all make it truly happen. And cleanse our country and our souls.

So were you at Aljunied GRC hawker center, if it is then forget about it as its more or less Workers Party now. Statistics from previous GEs do not lie. You can work backwards from there. I do NOT want to be sorely disappointed on 8 May morning when I wake up becos the reality of all seats going to PAP is still there & I do not want the status quo of Hougang & PP or Hougang & new entrant Aljunied only. I hope to be proven WRONG as I am so sick & fed up with the fucktard PAP scumbags.

Woke up early this morning to begin with a new dawn. Blue sky with white cloud and bright glows of red and orange over the horizon.
Yes Singaporean the time has come

The lunch was at a hawker center in Jurong.

I was so surprised. But then, I should not be.

Their impact on our lives were so deep and painful.

We will get rid of them now

I just came back after casting my ballot.
I felt so purified.
I met my neighbour , an elderly lady walking her doggie. She told me
that was because her husband was called by the RC to invigilate at another nearby polling station and she
will vote when his shift end 4 hours later. I knew they were RC, and did not want to embarrase them in talking
of the future of our country.
It was such a nice surprise to hear from her, unprompted by me, that she and her husband are determined to vote
opposition.

THE CHANGE IS COMING
TOMORROW WILL BE A MOST BEAUTIFUL DAY

I find it difficult to stay at home. It is a beautiful day.
I went down to my polling station. People after casting their votes walked out with
smiles on their faces.

Must be like the way I felt after I cast my ballot. What a sweet feeling that was!

I came back from lunch from a makan center. To get there, I detoured past the polling station.
I could not just count smiles on faces. I had to ask, indirectly, a guy walking out and passing me.
"You a happy man?"
He turned in surprise to me, paused a moment, turned his thumb up , smiled bigger and said, " Very happy" in Chinese.

I think lots and lots of happy hearts. I am sure that is happening all over Singapore.

4:ish pm

I just got back from another walk to the polling station. There is too much energy in me to sit at home and watch TV or even to log into here.
I had a pleasant conversation with a couple of policemen there. We all agreed this will be an exciting election. I asked if I was loitering but they assured me I was not.
I then talked with some of the returning officers, thanking them for their hard work. They were quite cool and approachable. We all agreed this was a good election. And the results will be eagerly awaited. We all smiled and agreed Singaporeans will truly decide the future direction.

What their smile meant I do not know. But bear in mind we are all Singaporeans, and we all want a better future for all of us.

I am now deciding that I cannot sit in the comfort of home to see the results.
So I will be going either to Quality Hotel at Balestier Road to watch the counting with SDP or I will be going to Hougang Stadium to watch counting with the WP. No news as to any venue where PAP will have for the great unwashed to join them.

Any idea which one should I head to? Maybe with free drinks and dinner? I am an Ah Pek, and look like an Ah Pek.

I believe this is as fair a election that we have seen here so far. Not on par with other truly democratic countries. But beggars cannot be chosers.
The results, if nothing strange , foul and weird occur, have to be one we got to accept, as the collective decision of Singaporeans.

We will live or die by the ballots we and others cast today.

May the future be better than the past that will be left behind.
