Now I know why Lawrence Wong is SO OUT OF TOUCH to say people don't take 5Cs as the "Dream" but "Purposeful Life"!

Look at this voting result of the UN Resolution for Humanitarian Truce.
It is pretty clear that almost ALL of US main allies in NATO and the Western powers have ABANDONED US and Israel!
Instead of voting in line to support Israelis indiscriminate killings in Gaza, they have either abstained or even voted in support of the resolution instead. The most glaring ones are France and Spain which have voted in support of the resolution. Even US most ardent supporter and ally UK had abstained!

Current Population is 5.9m.
They said that current Domestic Consumption is 45% of total water demand. This will drop to 40% of total water demand in 2065 while Total Water demand Doubles.
Thus, by simple calculation, the factor of growth in domestic water consumption will be:
(0.4/0.45)*2=1.78
Assuming consumption per Capita doesn't change, it would mean that projected population size would be:
1.78*5.9m=10.5 million
My simple calculation and deduction here shows that the planning parameter for population size is around 10 million for 2065!
I may be wrong, but the information given and calculations bring me that figure.

The current population of 5.9 million is already living cheek to jowl with prices for housing and cars shooting through the roof. Our leaders must be mad to aim for a population size of 10 million on this tiny red dot. Of course they won't be adversely affected as they are paying themselves enough to live in spacious landed homes and drive luxurious cars, unlike the hoi polloi in the HDB heartlands living like packed sardines.
GMS is not happy with PAP and increasing food prices.

As I have predicted but came unexpectedly so soon, US has done a complete Flip Flop now, calling for Humanitarian Truce!
Why didn't it vote for the UN Resolution asking for the same thing just last week?

Taiwan will have to take heed on what happened to Ukraine. 看了“大風吹”這電影，感觸良多。
唐先生一直強調這不是一部“紀錄片”，其實他真正的意思是，“這部電影不是記錄或談論政治對錯是非的片子”。
劇中對於“關閉南大”的政治原因，一概不談，連關閉南大這樣大的事件也輕描淡寫。
我雖然不是南大生，但是我肯定大時代的南大生看了這部片子，肯定是百感交集。
整部片子似乎是為華文教育的強迫身亡提出了“合理化”的原因，那就是私人公司不愿意請華校生或華校生的出路比英校生差。這種片面的論述其實對關閉南大的歷史定位，做出了不公正的判決。
綜觀上一世紀一起經濟崛起的四小龍中，臺灣和香港也不是以中文教育為主的經濟體嗎？ 同個時代，同樣以貿易代工生產為經濟主要支柱起飛，為何香港和臺灣就沒有所謂的“英文為主，中文教育被排斥”的現象呢？
其實罪魁禍首是執政的行動黨，從公務員體系中開始排斥華校生。在升職加薪的體制裡歧視華校生。就連受政府控制的政聯公司也如此。
這就是為何許多南大生下海從商，也不呆在政府的機制裡。試問，華校生開的公司會歧視排斥華校生嗎？

As I have expected and said, the Ukrainians are running out of steam and manpower. No amount of military or monetary aids will matter or help Ukraine to "win" the war.
It's a mistake for Z to listened to UK Boris Johnson not to sign the Peace deal last year and stuck with the FALSE HOPE AND Promises given by US, UK and the NATO.
They will abandon Ukraine for good because even NATO has depleted most of its weaponry reserves from heavy machinery to simple grenades, bullets and bomb shells.
Ukraine will be left dry and hung high. The terms of Peace talk will tilt against Ukraine while Russians will demand for more favorable terms.
It's sad. You can't have a comedian leading the country and army, formulating strategies and making strategic decisions during war time.
Most comedians or stage artists worry more about their own personal image and popularity rather than putting in cold logic to look at hard statistics so to make sensible decisions.
Basically, UKRAINE becomes UATA... Used And Throw Away. They will be abandoned when they are no longer useful for the Western powers in their game plan. But Ukrainians paid a much heavier price with blood, lives and destruction to their homeland.

4 November ·As I have expected and said, the Ukrainians are running out of steam and manpower. No amount of military or monetary aids will matter or help Ukraine to "win" the war.
It's a mistake for Z to listened to UK Boris Johnson not to sign the Peace deal last year and stuck with the FALSE HOPE AND Promises given by US, UK and the NATO.
They will abandon Ukraine for good because even NATO has depleted most of its weaponry reserves from heavy machinery to simple grenades, bullets and bomb shells.
Ukraine will be left dry and hung high. The terms of Peace talk will tilt against Ukraine while Russians will demand for more favorable terms.
It's sad. You can't have a comedian leading the country and army, formulating strategies and making strategic decisions during war time.
Most comedians or stage artists worry more about their own personal image and popularity rather than putting in cold logic to look at hard statistics so to make sensible decisions.
Basically, UKRAINE becomes UATA... Used And Throw Away. They will be abandoned when they are no longer useful for the Western powers in their game plan. But Ukrainians paid a much heavier price with blood, lives and destruction to their homeland.
