3 suspects believed to be involved in clubhouse break-in arrested

SINGAPORE : Police have arrested three persons who are believed to be in involved in a break-in at a clubhouse along Upper Thomson Road.
A staff of the club had found the glass door of the main office smashed and cash amounting to more than S$11,000 missing when she reported to work on Saturday morning.
Police officers managed to establish the identities of two suspects with the help of CCTV footage.
One of them was arrested at a flat in Whampoa on Sunday night. The two other suspects were arrested about an hour later in Telok Blangah Heights.
Cash amounting to S$4,500 and a number of handphones were also recovered from the unit.
Two of the suspects will be charged in court on Tuesday. If convicted, they face a jail term of up to 14 years.
The third suspect is still under investigation.
