21-year-old serial housebreaker and thief nabbed by police
The offences took place at homes in Lorong Limau, Upper Boon Keng Road, Bendemeer Road and St Gorge's Road.

SINGAPORE -A 21-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon for his alleged involvement in a series of housebreaking and theft offences at night in various locations, police said on Thursday in a statement.
The man, who was not named, is believed to have pried open the window louvres of residential units along common corridors and reached for items placed near the windows.
The offences took place at homes in Lorong Limau, Upper Boon Keng Road, Bendemeer Road and St Gorge's Road.
Police said some residents from Lorong Limau had made reports of the housebreaking and thefton Sunday.
Officers from the Crime Strike Force of Kampong Java Neighbourhood Police Centre then conducted extensive enquiries and investigation.
The alleged offender's identity was established with the help of police cameras.
He was later arrested, with the help of officers from Rochor Neighbourhood Police Centre, near Bendemeer Road at about 6pm on Tuesday.
The suspect is expected to be charged in court on Friday.
If convicted of housebreaking and theft by night, he faces up to 14 years in jail.
The police adviced the public to avoid leaving valuables near windows and doors, and to ensure that all doors and windows are well secured with grilles and padlocks before leaving home and before going to bed.
Home owners can also install a burglar alarm, motion sensor lamps and close circuit surveillance cameras to cover entry and exit points into their homes.
